Wet snow/rain mix moving east across the Chicago area

By late morning wet snow with minor accumulations on grassy areas was falling north of Interstate-80 and over a good portion of northwest Indiana, with a rain/snow mix changing over to a cold intermittent rain elsewhere. This band of precipitation will gradually taper-off, changing to all rain – temperatures rising into the upper 30s to around 40-degrees  – before ending from the west this afternoon.
