Cooler temps move into area for a milder end to work week


Another hot and humid day is likely to give way to showers and storms Wednesday afternoon.

The Chicago area is under a Marginal Risk for severe storms this afternoon and tonight. In addition to lightning, stronger thunderstorms could be accompanied by small hail and wind gusts as high as 45 mph.

Storms will usher in cooler air and Thursday will be less humid with temps in the 70s.
