downstream to confluence with Big Bureau Creek.
* until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 1045 AM Tuesday the stage was 20.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast…The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Wednesday morning.
* Impact…At 20.0 feet…Agricultural areas in La Salle, Spring
Valley, and Peru lowlands are flooded.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Fox River at Dayton, or from Millington downstream to confluence
with the Illinois River.
* until further notice.
* At 245 PM Tuesday the stage was 17.4 feet. River ice spotters
continued to report an ice jam beginning near Ottawa upstream to
near Dayton Dam. This ice jam has continued to cause fluctuations
in water level.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast…The river will likely remain above flood stage for the
next few days while the ice jam remains in place. Additional
water level fluctuations are likely. Warmer weather late this week
should allow the ice to begin to clear.
