CHICAGO — A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Friday from 2 a.m. to 12 p.m. for Lake County, Illinois and northern Cook County.
Heavy lake effect snow is possible with 2 – 4 inches likely and very localized 8″ totals possible, The National Weather Service said. Look for lower visibility and slick roads through the Friday morning commute.
Additionally, a Winter Weather advisory will be in effect from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m. for southern Cook County, DuPage County and Lake County, Indiana.
