CHICAGO -- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 11 p.m. for the following northeastern Illinois and northwest Indiana counties:
Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle, Livingston, and Will Counties in Illinois and Lake County. Ind.
A severe thunderstorm warning has also been issued for LaSalle County. That warning is in effect until 5:15 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm warning is also in effect for northeastern LaSalle, southwestern Kendall and northwestern Grundy counties until 6 p.m.
