Secondary band of showers/few t-storms moving through this evening

A secondary upper-air impulse accompanied by a weakening band of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will make its way southeast through the Chicago area this evening. Far western and southern locations will most likely receive the greatest rain totals and experience gustier winds with this band that will gradually end from the northwest later tonight.
