THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHICAGO HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  SOUTHERN BOONE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
  CENTRAL MCHENRY COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN ILLINOIS...

* UNTIL 715 PM CDT.

* AT 412 PM CDT, DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO 
  THUNDERSTORMS. BETWEEN 2 AND 5 INCHES OF RAIN FELL EARLIER TODAY.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  CRYSTAL LAKE, ALGONQUIN, LAKE IN THE HILLS, MCHENRY, BELVIDERE, 
  WOODSTOCK, HUNTLEY, HARVARD, MARENGO, JOHNSBURG, WONDER LAKE, 
  LAKEWOOD, CAPRON, BULL VALLEY, MCCULLOM LAKE, RINGWOOD, UNION, 
  GARDEN PRAIRIE, GREENWOOD AND RIDGEFIELD.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA. THIS 
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS MINOR FLOODING ALONG WATERWAYS AND OTHER POOR 
DRAINAGE AREAS IS IMMINENT OR MAY ALREADY BE OCCURRING. PERSONS IN 
THE ADVISORY AREA SHOULD USE CAUTION AND AVOID FLOOD WATERS.
