Better-Than-Leftover Turkey Pot Pie
2 cups dressing
4 cups leftover turkey cut in 1 inch cubes
2 cups leftover vegetable of your choice
2 cups gravy - warm
1 cup cranberry sauce
4 cups mashed potatoes
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
One crimped pie crust - homemade or store bought.
Place into the pie crust
The dressing - spread around to cover the bottom
Add the turkey
Add the vegetables (optional)
Cover with gravy
dot the cranberry sauce around the top and smooth it down.
Using a 1/2 cup measure make 8 mounds of potato on the top. Use an off-set spatula or knife to spread the potatoes around making sure to get them all the way to the edge.
Sprinkle with a 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
Bake at 325 for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top. Cut and serve
