Last year, the Salvation Army’s STOP-IT Program in Chicago received 385 calls to its 24-hour hotline and managed more than 80 victim cases. The Salvation Army STOP-IT Program is a lead agency on the Cook County Human Trafficking Task Force, and helps survivors heal and start a new life after leaving a trafficking situation. Services provided include support such as housing resources, food, transportation, medical and legal services.
