* Including today’s contest, each of the Chicago White Sox’ next 27 games will be against teams that are currently .500 or better.
* The above notwithstanding, it would be quite a surprise if any of the Indians left the yard in today’s contest as long as Jose Quintana is on the hill. Quintana has allowed only one home run in his first nine starts.
* The Indians have at least one extra-base hit in every contest since the second game of the 2016 campaign, a streak of 43 games.
* Corey Kluber had zero luck against the White Sox in 2015, but then again, he got no support from the Indians’ offense in those outings. Cleveland scored just one run in Kluber’s 22.0 IP vs. Chicago last season.
