KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chicago Bears inched closer to .500 Sunday as they defeated the Chiefs in Kansas City.

Both the Bears and the Chiefs went into the game 1-3. Wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and Eddie Royal were both inactive for the Bears.

The Bears trailed for most of the game, but took a lead with 18 seconds left on a touchdown pass from Jay Cutler to Matt Forte. The Chiefs missed a 66-yard field goal as time expired.
