CHICAGO — Remember Kyle Schwarber’s home run ball during the National League Division Series against the St. Louis Cardinals?

The homer came to rest on top of the scoreboard. The Cubs put it under plexiglass, but now the team says the ball has been moved.

The Cubs won’t say exactly where the ball is because of safety concerns. But the team says it is safe, and they haven’t decided what to do with it.

As for Schwarber, he’s not too sentimental. He says the team can do anything they want with it.

The home run came in Game 4 of the NLDS, which the Cubs won 6-4.
