Benedictine University headed to first Final Four in school history

LISLE, Ill. – There’s only one undefeated team left at any level of NCAA men’s basketball and they play in Lisle.

Illinois’ Benedictine University improved to 30-0 Saturday night after beating Alma College 93-73 in the Division III Elite Eight.

The No. 2 ranked Eagles made a season high 17 three-pointers, including six from Naperville native Mike Blaszcyzk.

Benedictine will try to keep their dream season alive Friday night when they face Amherst College in the first Final Four in school history.
