With the Wild goaltender situation in flux, Ilya Bryzgalov will get the call in net Friday night at the United Center.
In three playoff games last series agains the Avalanche, Bryzgalov, 33, has a 4.25 goals-against average. His 2.68 average in the regular season ranked 34th in the league. He was yanked in Game 2 in favor of Darcy Kuemper, who did not make the trip to Chicago because of an upper-body injury he suffered in Game 7 against the Avalanche.

The Hawks, meanwhile, are about as healthy as a playoff hockey team can be this time of year. All hands were on deck for this morning’s skate, with Jonathan Toews returning to the ice after missing Thursday’s practice because of an illness.

Kris Versteeg is scratched again after he was a scratch in Game 6 of the series against the Blues. Again, Joakim Nordstrom will take his place in the lineup.

In 2010 on their way to the Stanley Cup, the Hawks lost their first game of the second round to the Canucks but came back to win the series in six.

Last season, the Hawks won the first game against the Red Wings before dropping three straight only to fight back and win the series in seven.
