CHICAGO — Saturday night’s Chicago Cubs game has been postponed due to weather, the team has announced.
The Cubs were scheduled to play at 6:15 Saturday against the Kansas City Royals. The team announced on Twitter that game will now be played on Sep. 28 at 7:05 p.m. central.
The announcement comes after rain has been blanketing much of the Chicago area. Earlier Saturday the National Weather Service issued a Lakeshore Flood Advisory to stay in effect until 4 a.m. Sunday.
Tonight's game has been postponed. The make-up date will be Monday, September 28 at 7:05 p.m. CT.
