LOS ANGELES — After the Cubs won the 2016 World Series in a historic game 7 victory, Micheal J. Fox took to Twitter to congratulate the team using a cryptic message.

Fox tweeted, “Only off by a year, not bad. Congrats @Cubs. This is so heavy.”

The tweet is a reference to “Back to the Future II,” which took place in 2015 and featured the Cubs winning the World Series against a fictional Miami Gators.
