CHICAGO -- Tuesday night's game between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field has been postponed due to a forecast of rain and potential sub-freezing wind chills, the Cubs announced Tuesday.
A make-up date has not yet been announced.
"Fans are encouraged to retain their tickets from tonight's postponed game to use for the rescheduled contest,” the team said in a statement.
However some fans remained skeptical Tuesday, saying the team has played in worse conditions before. There has been some speculations that the postponement is more due to the stadium's ongoing restroom and construction troubles.
