CHICAGO — The Chicago Cubs released a video of the team seeing their brand new clubhouse for the first time Sunday.

The players seemed pretty impressed as they toured the space. A few players were seen snapping selfies their jerseys hanging in the clubhouse.

The old Cubs clubhouse and training facilities used to be among the smallest in baseball.

Monday night is the Cubs home opener, and the clubhouse isn’t the only thing that’s going to look different if you’re going to the game.

They’ve done a lot of renovating in the past six months, adding to what they did the year before. There was a lot of hurry up work this past weekend. The iron work and the terra cotta tiles are new, giving Wrigley Field that classic look.

You can watch the Cubs play the Cincinnati Reds at 7:05 p.m. Monday, right here on WGN.

We’ll have pregame coverage on the WGN Evening News at 4 and 5 p.m.
