CHICAGO — The Chicago Cubs had a spectacular season, and now you can have a piece of it — for free.

Wrigley Field is replacing most of the outfield grass, as the Cubs often do at the end of each season.

As the sod is removed from the ballpark, it’s being placed outside the “knothole gate” on Sheffield just north of Addison.

The sod is free for the taking today and Tuesday on a first-come-first-serve basis.
