CHICAGO — The Chicago Bears have become the first NFL franchise to ever win the Stanley Cup, at least according to one newspaper.

The Korea Times ran a headline that declared the Windy City’s football squad as Cup champs. So close.

It’s difficult to pick the strangest thing about this story: That the Times made this mistake, that the newspaper ran it on its front page, or that it waited until Wednesday morning to even report the news at all.

The image was quickly shared on Reddit, garnering hundreds of comments, and then later shared on Twitter by user Vinny Oz, who made the quip, “Your move, Packers.”

His tweet has since been shared hundreds of times.

Despite the rally being held at the home of the Bears Thursday, it will actually be the Blackhawks who’ll be present. It was Chicago’s hockey team that won the hockey championship Monday night, after all.
