CHICAGO – It probably won’t be official until Saturday morning when free agency begins, but there are multiple reports that Patrick Sharp will be returning to the Blackhawks.
And on a big discount.
The deal is rumored to be worth under a million dollars.

Sharp, who turns 36 in December, is coming off a tough year in Dallas.
He scored just eight goals in 48 games with multiple stints on the injured reserve due to concussions and season-ending hip surgery.
The year before he left for the Stars, Sharp scored 16 goals to along with 27 assists in 68 regular season games.
However, the former fan favorite won three Stanley Cups during his time with Hawks, scoring 30 or more goals in a single season four times.
