CHICAGO — Coach Q is sticking around Chicago for a little while longer.
Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville has extended his contract with the team for three more years, through the 2019-2020 season.
Since joining the Blackhawks in 2008, he coached the team to Stanley Cup championships in 2010, 2013 and 2015.
He is currently one win shy of tying Al Arbour as the second-winningest coach in league history.
Quenneville and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children: Dylan, Lily and Anna.
This is a developing story. Check back for details.
