CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks took a 2-1 series lead in their first-round matchup against the Nashville Predators after a 4-2 victory Sunday afternoon at the United Center.

Andrew Desjardins, Jonathan Toews, Brandon Saad and Brent Seabrook scored a goal each for the Blackhawks, while goalie Scott Darling, playing in place of Corey Crawford for his first career playoff start, notched 35 saves in the victory.

Crawford was benched for Game 3 after the Hawks gave up six goals in Game 2 at Nashville. He was also taken out for Darling during Game 1 before the Hawks erased a 3-goal deficit to win in double-overtime.

Mike Ribeiro and Mattias Ekholm each scored for the Predators, while Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne made 26 saves in a losing effort.

Game 4 will be at the United Center Tuesday night.
