* Since the Hartford Whalers moved to Carolina in 1997, no team has a higher win percentage at United Center than the Hurricanes (.688).

* The Hurricanes, currently 30-30-9, have had at least 30 win and 30 regulation losses an NHL-high seven times since the 2006-07 season.

* The Blackhawks have picked up back-to-back victories at home, with each coming by at least three goals. Since December 8, the Blackhawks have won eight home games by at least three goals – the second most in the NHL over that span (Boston 10).
