CHICAGO – For those who follow the world of competitive sailing, there is nothing better than the action of the America’s Cup.

Now a little bit of that is coming to the shores of Lake Michigan.

This June the America’s Cup World Series will come to Navy Pier with the best sailers in the world and the best boats as part of the qualifying for the 35th America’s Cup in Bermuda in 2017.

All of the competitors will come to the Navy Pier area from June 10-12 to try and get their way into the biggest boat race in the world.

On Tuesday Chicago event director Tod Reynolds came on Sports Feed to discuss the event in June with Jarrett Payton and Josh Frydman.
