CHICAGO – Since the show’s debut in June of 2015, Jarrett Payton and Josh Frydman have covered a lot of hockey.

Whether it’s reading highlights during the show on CLTV or going out to practice for the Blackhawks, covering the sport is a priority for the guys all year long.

But how would they do actually playing the sport? That had to be left up to the imagination for the first nine months on the show.

Thanks to the Chicago Wolves, that is no longer the case.

In late March the AHL franchise offered the guys the opportunity to strap on the pads and hit the ice for one of the team’s practices at Allstate Arena. With a full uniform-including custom sweaters-the guys hit the ice, ran through some drills and even took some hits.

Don’t worry, they did get hit a lot. They still had to anchor Sports Feed.
