CHICAGO –  As the 2020 calendar year approaches, the Cubs aren’t setting the world on fire with their offseason moves. That wasn’t a surprise considering the team is more in need of getting rid of a potential core player if they were to have a major signing. But so far that move with a big player hasn’t happened, so the Cubs are just making small moves to build up their roster for their first spring training under David Ross.
