CHICAGO - His road to professional soccer has never gone far from the Chicagoland area.
As a teenager in Lake Forest he was on the Chicago Fire's junior league teams. For college he went 2 hours to the west to Notre Dame where he was a standout student (5 Dean's Lists) and player for the Irish.
It's only fitting that Harry Shipp's professional career begin with his hometown team. Since joining the Fire in 2014 Shipp has been a productive midfielder, scoring 9 career goals and collective 11 assists for the MLS franchise.
