CHICAGO — Early voting for the April 7 elections in Cook County starts Monday.
More than 2,000 candidates are running in some 700 races.
There are also 36 local referenda on topics ranging from term limits to red light cameras.
Early voting runs from March 23 to April 4.
There are 42 early voting sites in suburban Cook County in addition to the clerk`s downtown office at 69 West Washington.
