Still no sign of 5 month old Joshua Summeries and the Zion Police Chief fears the worst.

Chief Wayne Brooks told reporters this afternoon he believes the end of the investigation is near.

Summeries was discovered missing at around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday at his family’s apartment on Galilee Ave.  His mother called police to say someone took her son.

When Joshua disappeared, so did his mother’s boyfriend and neighbors say the couple often had loud arguments, including a fight the night before Joshua vanished.

More than 100 police officers, dogs and helicopters searched for Joshua without success.

Late Wednesday, police found and arrested the boyfriend.  He is in custody and is being called a person of interest.

Police say the mother is cooperating and is not a suspect.
