A teenager has been charged with robbing two women at gun point in Bolingbrook.

Police arrested 18-year-old John Smith of Woodridge, and charged him with felony robbery.

They say he matches the description of a man who held up the two women Wednesday night, while they were sitting in a car in the parking lot of an Olive Garden.

The man stole their purses and cell phones, then ran off.

Smith was arrested after one of the women’s credit cards was used at a nearby gas station in Oswego.

A man matching Smith’s description is wanted in connection with three armed robberies in Woodridge over five days at the end of April.

But police would not say if they suspect Smith, citing an ongoing investigation.
