A teenager, a college student, and a woman holding her baby are attacked in Midlothian near the Metra station.

A 17 year-old girl was attacked outside of her home. Fortunately, her father heard the confrontation and chased the suspect away. A 22 year-old college student was attacked and robbed as she walked home from the Metra station after midnight. A 26 year-old woman was also attacked as she held her young baby. The woman’s nose was broken.

Police are beefing up patrols, and they say the attacks appear to be connected.

Residents are taking extra precautions to be safe.

“It hasn’t really changed my routine, but you see when I was walking, I’m looking behind me a lot more. I’m more aware of my surroundings,” said Jennifer Rogalny.

The suspect wore a black mask in the attacks, and approached his victims from behind.
