CHICAGO — A woman was struck and pinned under a CTA bus on the city’s Near North Side.
Chicago fire department officials said it happened just before 9 a.m. Friday near Fairbanks and Ontario.
She was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious but stable condition.
CTA officials said the bus had just left a terminal.
An investigation is underway.
