WESTERVILLE, Oh. — An Ohio woman claimed she was forced to lead police on a high-speed chase because she was having an allergic reaction to a peanut butter cookie.
WBNS reports 30-year-old Corneatia Hill sped through city streets while trying to evade police, traveling more than 90 miles per hour. After a spike strip caused her tires to go flat, police say Hill took off running on foot.
When police finally caught up with Hill and arrested her, she said she had just eaten a peanut cookie and was having an allergic reaction.
Officials said there was no sign of a reaction. Hill will now face several charges.
