A 20-year-old woman with a history of prostitution is facing charges in connection with the murder of a Brother Rice teacher.

Alisha Walker confessed to stabbing 61-year-old Al Filan multiple times after an argument. She claims she stabbed him in self-defense.

Police say Walker, of Akron, Ohio, met Filan on a classified website and traveled here twice to see him. On the third time, she says she and another woman went to Filan’s home in Orland Park, and when Filan threatened the other woman, Walker stabbed him.

Filan was found dead on the kitchen floor of his Orland Park home last week.

Walker is being held in an Indiana jail awaiting extradition.
