A woman is charged with beating, burning, and biting her two young grandchildren.

47-year-old Goldine Williams is accused of committing the abuse against the 5 and 6 year-old in the Grand Crossing neighborhood back in October.

Police say she hit the boy with the cover for a plastic sword, an extension cord, and burned him with a hair iron.

They also claim she burned, bit, and scratched the girl.

Authorities also say she forced the kids to eat cat food.

Williams is being held in jail on $200,000 dollars bond.
