Woman beat, sexually assaulted in Humboldt Park

Chicago police issued a community alert after a woman was sexually assaulted in Humboldt Park.

The attack happened near Western and Augusta Boulevard early Monday morning.

A man attacked a woman inside a bus stop shelter.

He then took her to a gangway, where he beat and sexually assaulted her.

No arrests have been made.

Police released a vague description of the attacker, but they say he had diamond studded earrings in both ears.
