CHICAGO — Former mayoral candidate Willie Wilson will be endorsing Jesus “Chuy” Garcia, and not incumbent Rahm Emanuel, for Chicago mayor in April’s runoff election.

Monica Trevino, a spokeswoman for Garcia’s campaign, confirmed to WGN that Wilson would announce details of his endorsement during a press conference Thursday.

Wilson previously ran in the February election, but conceded then along with William “Dock” Walls and Bob Fioretti.

The runoff election between Garcia and Emanuel is April 7.
