The wife of comedian Bill Cosby has been ordered to give a deposition in a defamation suit against her husband.

Camille Cosby tried to fight it, but she was denied by a court in Massachusetts. Seven women are suing the comedian, saying he portrayed them as liars after they accused him of sexual assault.

Cosby countersued, saying the women derailed his plans for a new sitcom. His attorneys say Camille does not know anything, and also that she should be protected by spousal privilege.

She is scheduled to testify next week.
