White Sox VP’s stepson charged with sexual assault

30-year old Dedrick Williams has been charged with criminal sexual assault after an incident at a downtown hotel over the weekend.

Dedrick Williams is the stepson of White Sox executive vice president Kenny Williams, the son of his ex-wife.

The alleged incident took place around 3 am on Saturday, when police responded to a room at the Palmer House Hotel for a domestic disturbance.

A 30-year-old woman, who claimed to be the accused’s girlfriend, told police she had been beaten by Williams.

The woman later went to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she told authorities she had been sexually assaulted, according to police.

Williams is being held on $150,000 bail on charges of criminal sexual assault, unlawful restraint and domestic battery.
