WASHINGTON D.C. — U.S. President Joe Biden highlighted state and local leaders who are using federal dollars from the American Rescue Plan to invest in law enforcement, community safety.

The president, flanked by approximately one-dozen mayors and chiefs of police, told reporters of various efforts taking place across the country to prepare for the summer season and its potential crime.

Mr. Biden also took time to answer questions from the media which focused on the national shortage of baby formula. He cited efforts by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and some of the nation’s largest private companies to increase the supply, to include imports, in order to address the shortage.
