CHICAGO — Crews are working to repair a water main that broke in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood.
The pipe ruptured at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of North Halsted. The street was flooded with several feet of water.
Emergency equipment is blocking Halsted, between Willow and North Avenue.
The CTA also rerouted some buses.
There’s no word yet on what caused the water main to burst.
