PALATINE, Ill. — A small plane landed on a Palatine highway Thursday evening.
According to the FAA, a single-engine Cessna 177 Cardinal landed seven miles west of Chicago Executive Airport in Palatine. The plane landed on Quentin Road around 6 p.m.
The pilot was the only one on the plane and was not injured.
Authorities said the plane was headed northwest when it tried to turn back around. Witnesses saw the plane flying low and knew something wasn’t right.
