If you suffer from diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma or other chronic conditions, there’s a new place to go for preventative care.

Walgreens is expanding its health care services at its Take Care Clinics.

These clinics will now be able to evaluate, recommend and order screenings or lab tests, based on a patient’s age, gender and family history.

This new service comes at a time when there’s a physician shortage, an aging population and millions of people are expected to get insurance through the new federal health care law.
