A disgraced CPS coach appeared in court today accused of sexual assault.

Bond was set at $300,000 dollars for 42-year-old Gerald Gaddy, a volunteer assistant girls track coach at Simeon High School

Gaddy, called “Coach Baby Face” by students is charged with three felonies—sexual abuse, sexual assault, and aggravated battery.

During Gaddy’s bond hearing Wednesday, prosecutors spelled- out in graphic detail the many ways he took advantage of three young girls on Simeon’s track team. The girls range in age between 15 and 17.

The Cook County state’s attorney’s office says the abuse dates back to February 2013, and continued through June of this year, with sexual contact happening on school grounds in Gaddy’s office – everything from groping to various forms of sexual contact.

“A facilitator of peer and teen health who was working at Simeon High School for the summer saw the victim and asked her why she looked sad,” Elizabeth Novy, Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney said. “The victim told the facilitator about the defendant’s contact and comments to her. The facilitator then contacted the victim’s mother and they met with the school principal which lead to a school investigation.”

That school investigation lead to the discovery of Gaddy’s second and third victims.
