CHICAGO — The pressure of rising water caused a street buckle in downtown Chicago.

It happened Tuesday afternoon on Jefferson Street between Adams and Monroe.

The video captures the concrete of the street cracking and startling a person, sending them running.

Jefferson is closed Wednesday from Adams to Monroe for emergency repair work due to the buckle.
