AAHH! FEST 2016 – Music festival hosted by Chicago’s own COMMON in Union Park Sept. 24-25. Featuring Ice Cube, The Roots and many other performers. Ticket required.

Chance the Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day – Chicago’s own Chance the Rapper hosts a music festival and voter registration drive at U.S. Cellular Field on Sept. 24. Performers include Skrillex, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Lil’ Wayne and 2 Chainz . Ticket required.

Hyde Park Jazz Festival – Happening Sept. 24-25. Various locations. $5 suggested donation.

World Music Festival Chicago – Enjoy the final weekend of this free music fest, featuring music from China, Bulgaria and Canada.

Stories and Songs of Chicago – Lyric Opera’s Chicago Voices presents this unique performance at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance on Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are free but reservations are required.

Cheers Live on Stage – The popular TV show is now a stage play! See it at the Broadway Playhouse Sept. 20-Oct. 23. Tickets now available.

Midnight Circus – This family-friendly circus sets up in Oriole Park on Sept. 24 & 25. Ticket required. All proceeds benefit the Chicago Park District.

Oktoberfest Chicago – Beer and brats abound at this outdoor street fest happening Sept. 23-25 in Lakeview (at the corner of Lincoln, Wellington & Southport). $5 Admission.

EXPO CHICAGO –  International exposition of contemporary & modern art at Navy Pier Sept. 22-25. Ticket required.

After Dark in the Modern Wing – The Art Institute stays open after hours for exhibit tours, live music and drinks. From 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. Sept. 23. Ticket required.

Edgewater Arts Festival – Happening Sept. 24-25 along Granville Avenue between Broadway & Kenmore. $5 suggested donation.

Chicago International Social Change Film Festival – Happening Sept. 23-25 at the Showplace ICON Theater. Ticket required.

Reeling Film Festival – 34th annual LGBTQ international film festival Sept. 22-29. Various locations. Can purchase festival pass or tickets to individual screenings.
