A United Airlines flight returned to O’Hare Airport Friday night due to a security concern.
United Airlines released the following statement:
“United flight 972 from Chicago to Brussels returned Friday to Chicago due to a suspected security concern. The flight landed safely in Chicago at 10:07 P.M., and law enforcement met the aircraft upon arrival. We are accommodate [sic] passengers on an alternate aircraft to Brussels.”
United Airlines did not make it clear what the security issue was.
No passengers were injured.
