Two small planes collided midair over an airport in Maryland.

Authorities say the planes were trying to land when they clipped wings above Carroll County Regional Airport in Westminster Saturday afternoon.

One of the planes landed safely on the runway.

The other made a hard landing in a field.

No one was injured, but the pilot of one of the planes was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
