HAPPY VALLEY, Ore. — Central Oregon, born and raised?

One couple’s viral video is changing the baby announcement game after they chose to spread the good news by riffing on one of the most well-recognized raps ever.

A recent YouTube video shows the soon-to-be mother and father rapping their announcement to the theme song of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” originally sung by Will Smith.

According to KPTV, the couple, Jesse and Mellisa Meeks, are from the Happy Valley, Ore. area (map).

They posted the video to YouTube last week, and it has already garnered more than 1 million views.

The couple initially intended the video to be only for distant friends and family, according to the report.

“It was completely unexpected. Like, that was the last thing we thought would happen, that it would blow up to what it had, or what it has,” Mellisa told KPTV.

The couple says a sequel may be in order once they find out the baby’s gender.
